Who we are 
Zieher stands for innovative design paired with the highest quality craftsmanship, and has been valued as a reliable partner in the luxury hotel industry and top gastronomy for over 30 years. Impressive buffet presentations, luxurious food presentations and exclusive accessories bear the name Zieher worldwide.

What we do 
With the unique VISION wine glass series, a collection for discerning wine lovers was launched in 2015. The hand-blown series was developed in collaboration with sommelier Silvio Nitzsche and enables maximum aroma presence and intuitive wine enjoyment beyond the classic distinction between white and red wine glasses.

In addition to high-quality wine glasses, the FOR WINE LOVERS range also offers extraordinary decanters and other functional accessories for vinophile enjoyment, which you can purchase directly here in the shop or from selected specialist retailers.

About Silvio Nitzsche 
Silvio Nitzsche has been working as a sommelier in the wine business for almost a quarter of a century. During his career, he worked in various multi-star restaurants in Germany, Europe and California before releasing his Dresden WEIN|KULTUR|BAR. More than two dozen awards testify to his reputation within the industry. In addition to countless publications, projects, moderations and publications, he set a new milestone in the industry in 2024 with the podcast "SOMMELIER". The Zieher company works with him as part of the VISION wine glass series.

 

Wine Retail Award WeinVisionen
With the WeinVisionen prize, Zieher wants to work independently of its own product range of wine enjoyment tools to ensure that interested wine lovers are granted broad access to the diverse world of wine culture, which trains awareness and enables independent enjoyment experiences of wine as a cultural asset. The prize has been awarded since 2022. So far, Weinlade, Karlsruhe and Wein & Mehr, Rostock have been awarded as specialist wine shops. Thomas Boxberger, Stefanie Döring and Martin Kössler were honoured as wine trade personalities. The jury prize was awarded to Christina Fischer, Jörg Linke and Claudia Stern.
